The Golden Plaice
is a handmade pop-up book featuring silkscreen printed imagery. I spent a year designing and making the first copy during my Masters degree at Falmouth University. Each copy takes between one and two weeks to make!
The Golden Plaice No.6 was made for the Yale Center for British Art . It will become part of their collection and featured in the summer 2014 exhibition and book “Of Green Leaf, Bird, and Flower”: Artists’ Books and the Natural World.
The characters from The Golden Plaice are also featured in Visual Families published by Gestalten (now unfortunately sold out).
